Recreation Centre
The Sinakekele Recreation Centre is always a hive of activity, where children from the community come and enjoy a fun and safe place to play and build positive relationships.
Church
Sunday church services at Sinakekele are overseen by a local church and our passionate volunteer Zanele. Gods’ word is shared and our members enjoy praise, worship and fellowship
Time with your little one
Twice a term we host a baby and toddler stimulation programme for Moms and their babies. Knowing how critical these early years are in young children’s development, our programme provides opportunities for moms and caregivers to further enhance their children’s learning in a fun, playful and concrete way.
Afternoon Vibes
One afternoon every second week you will find the community children back at Sinakekele for the Afternoon Vibe. Our very passionate and vibey local volunteer has a huge heart for the children, and spends the afternoon doing scriptural drama and song with the kids.
Bible Study
We hold Bible Study every week for the Gogo’s and ladies from our Community where we help one another pursue Communion with Christ, and interact and share with honesty. We read and discuss scripture and spend time praying and praising God. We also always enjoy refreshments uBuntu style.
Fathers Matter
We believe that father’s matter and that children need father figures in their lives, so we have partnered with a local organization to host a program for the men in our community, with the intention of highlighting a fathers importance, and raising up men to serve as father figures and role models to the children in our community.
Outreach and Hospital visits
A visit to the Maternity and Pediatric Wards at our local rural hospital, is always a highlight. We are blessed to receive far more clothing and toys than we need, and we pay the excess forward. The clothes and toys are sorted and packed into gift packs for the mothers in maternity, and the children in the pediatric wards. What an amazing experience. We go along to bless others but always come back humble and blessed ourselves.
